Winter 2021: The Nixon Hospitality team and I began discussing the branding for a new restaurant and cinema on Bernard Avenue in downtown Kelowna. Inspired by the street name—and as a nod to a 1960s Kelowna nightclub with a similar name—Bernie’s Supper Club felt like a natural choice. Adding a cinema was a passion project for the Nixon’s, and it’s definitely a go-to spot to eat, drink, and catch a film.
