Forever Green is an augmented reality artwork exploring a familial metaphysical loop of transferring experiences between a pensive guardian and a naive child.

Forever Green was part of AR Bernard alongside several other augmented reality works facilitated by the Maud Collective, The Kelowna Art Gallery and The Alternator Centre for the Arts. The music is courtesy of Trent Noble and animation was done by myself and Aaron Davis. The narrative shares a metaphysical loop; a transfer of the good and the bad from a pensive guardian to naive child. As for the hybrid nature of the characters, I use them quite a lot. I appreciate the unpredictable interpretation that occurs when merging unlike species together. The new unfixed character can tap into core primal instincts and challenge the artificial boundary between human and non-human beings.
